Can anyone tell me what this line means? I am trying to find the real reason for the crash. Also the "Att" and "Fault" warning lights on the front panel of the NClass server are not flashing, when they were not before. I just rebooted the server, now the "Fault" light is not flashing...but "ATT" is still flashing.
Question, where does someone look for a panic issue that causes a server to crash?
Thanks,
James

SolutionI'd start with the syslog. This might have something if anything went wild. Also, look for any /var/tombstones that might have been created. unfortunatly, the rc.log will not help, unless if there was a problem during bootup.

Re: crash question
Take a look at Technical Knowledge Base document #UXDNKBRC00001764.
It would appear that you would save time by opening a hardware support call.

Re: crash question
Your /var/adm/syslog/OLDsyslog.log (tail) may give some information.
HP looks at /var/tombstones/ts99 get an initial clue of fault codes during the crash.
You need to do a Q4 analysis of the crash dump and talk to HP to find the problem.
Check the recent thread below for running Q4.

Re: crash question
If your running Support Tools Manager, you can try and look in there for some logs as well, when you run stm.
I have found more information in these logs as well.
