Create a clone and include other patch bundles

Hello,
This is what I would like to do...
Create a make_recovery tape in order to clone a server.
After booting from the make_recovery tape I would like to include Hardware Enablement patches from another bundle elsewhere in the estate.
I know this cant be done but is there another procedure utilising igite, presumable, that I can achieve the same result.
I am trying to clone a N4000 onto an rp2470. I cant install the HWE patches on the source server because it breaks the application that runs there (the target server needs the HWE bundle to boot!).
One option is to do this in "downtime" by installing the HWE bundle - creating the make_recovery media, then swremoving the HWE bundle. This works but its difficult to schedule downtime - hence my need for an laternative method.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Create a clone and include other patch bundles

Do you have an idea what patch of the HWE breaks your application and why?

The central 11.00 enablement patches for PA8700 support are: PHKL_23813, PHKL_23814 & PHKL_23815. Maybe you can install these only on the N4000 to get a bootable image?

BTW, these patches depend on PHKL_18543 and are superseded by:

PHKL_23813 probe,sysproc,shmem,pm,mmap, Enable PA-8700
PHKL_23814 IO pdir,SBA,async IO deadlock,Enable PA-8700
PHKL_23815 dump path,PSW,dump byte count,Enable PA-8700
