Re: Create a new kernal screen appear
It seems that some kernal paramaters have been changed/patch installation has been done but new kernal has not been created.
If you work on disk and file system in SAM, it dosent affect kernal.
Check if somone has changed the kernal parameter but has not updated the kernal...
If you are changing the kernal it is good practice to have a copy of running kernal so in case if new kernal doesnt work you can always revert back.
Cheers!!!

Re: Create a new kernal screen appear
are you finding any error at /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log ?
Is there any file found under # /stand/build directory if so then somebody has generated the new kernel and reboot is left

Re: Create a new kernal screen appear
Can you list out what are kernel parameters ?
==> dbc_max_pct
dbc_min_pct
are you finding any error at /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log ?
==> NO error message
Is there any file found under # /stand/build directory if so then somebody has generated the new kernel and reboot is left
==> NO file was found under /stand/build and the last file was save on year 2001.

Re: Create a new kernal screen appear
Posibally you have tried to add another swap. If you do so without altering this parameter then SAM will automatically prompt you to change this as without changing this your new swap will not be active. Find out from output of "kmtune -q nswapdev" wheather both planned & current value are same or not.
If both are same then posibally you need to recreate new kernel & if yoi do not want to change the new kernel then go o Kernel configuration in sam & chnage planned value of this parameter to the same as current value. After that posibally it will go away.
Another possibality is that you have added swap & Cancel kernel changes after that.
Hust a thought.

Devender
