create CD's with make_net_recovery images

Hi Folks,

is there any difference between a golden image on cd and a make_net_recovery archive (also on cd)?
I've created the lif-header as described in the admin-guide and put in the 3 config-files (with some modifications as described for using a golden image on cd ("DSK" instead of NET...))
After I did the dd and burned the CD-Rom I was able to boot from it without problems but short after the TUI I got the following error:
cat: cannot open /tmp/ign_configure/SD_CDROM/2001-05-11,13:29: Invalid
argument
*Completed 0 kBytes of archive
gunzip:stdin: unexpected end of file
pax_iux: The archive is empty
Error: Cannot load OS archive (Recovery Archive)

It looks like there is a mistake in the archive_path but I've checked that many times...
archive_path="2001-05-11,13:29"
which is my make_net_recovery archive

Any ideas?

Regards,
Jochen

Re: create CD's with make_net_recovery images

sorry,

but this link was not really helpful. I've read the Admin-Guide section about make_net_recovery, make_medialif and make_sys_image more than once...

Assume the following: I did the right steps - but there is still a difference burning a CD with a make_net_recovery image instead of a golden image which causes the installation process to fail.

Other ideas?
