Creating a depot from compiled software

I've just downloaded the most current version of lsof and prerequisite software. I'd simply like to bundle them all and name it b_lsof. I found the following URL in searches, but it is no longer valid.

http://www.docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/fsearch/framedisplay?top=/hpux/onlinedocs/B1996-90011/B1996-90011_top.html&con=/hpux/onlinedocs/B1996-90011/00/00/95-con.html&toc=/hpux/onlinedocs/B1996-90011/00/00/95-toc.html&searchterms=SD&queryid=20010505-021209

So what are the specifics in creating the package config file (.psf)

Thanks in advance
