How to create an alternate boot disk on itanium system on hp-ux 11.31

You can either mirror the disk with LVM
or
you can create a "cold standby copy" using DRD (dynamic root disk).

What is your meaning of "alternate boot disk"?

Do you want to mirror or do you want to use DRD?
