Creating Baseline performance charts

Hello all

This is similar to a question I posted the other day so excuse me if I am somewhat duplicating myself.

I am trying to write a script that would give me a series of output files on different performance areas of a system.

The areas I definitely need are:

CPU
Memory
IO
Network traffic.

Anything else is a bonus.

What I need is some help creating a script that will do these simple baselines and then if anyone has the knowledge of how to import them into excel to create baseline performance charts that would be helpful.

Bear one thought in mind, I do not have measureware installed here otherwise this would be easy to do.

Hi,

Can also use Glance to collect this type of info, which can be imported to a spreadsheet and create nice graphs.
Do you have measureware and scopux? They are realy excelent tools for this type of business.
