Creating local TSM Terminal Print queues
We've got a complicated process here for printing to an external Win2k print server for our external clients.
Basically, the print job is submitted to a local print spooler which directs the file to a tsm.pipe (/var/spool/lp/tsm.pipes/printername) it's formatted here, and printed to a remote queue.
Because of some problems yesterday I need to recreate these definitions.
I basically end up with two spooler queues in SAM for each printer.
kerr130f remote kerr130f-relay on eps-s19
kerr130fI local /var/spool/lp/tsm.pipes/ker130fI
I can create the remote queue without any problems, but when I try to create the local it just hangs after selecting OK. (I've attached another attachment showing this)
The process seems to create the /etc/lp/member/kerr130fI entry but that's it.
Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong? or tell me how to try creating this queue from the command line? This was setup by someone else years ago, and I'm trying to restore it without any documentation.
Thanks
