Re: creating mirror boot disk
I am sure there would be atleast a 1000 threads on this question. Here is the info again.
DSK=/dev/dsk/c#t#d#
RDSK=/dev/rdsk/c#t#d#
1. pvcreate -B $RDSK
2. vgextend vg00 $DSK
3. mkboot $RDSK
5. mkboot -a "hpux -lq (;0)/stand/vmunix" $RDSK
6. cd /usr/sbin/diag/lif
7. mkboot -vb updatediaglif -p ISL -p HPUX -p AUTO $RDSK
8. For all the logical volumes do lvextend -m 1 /dev/vg00/lvol? $DSK
9. lvlnboot -s /dev/vg00/swap_lvol
10. lvlnboot -b /dev/vg00/stand_vol
11. lvlnboot -r /dev/vg00/root_vol
12. lvlnboot -R and verify by lvlnboot -v

Re: creating mirror boot disk
Put the phrase "mirror boot disk" in the search for field and click on the "Exact Phrase" for the search criteria.
Now in the "Search in" section be sure to click on the box next to "Community Forums".
Now go back to the top of the screen and click on the "Search" button.
You will get 50 results back (the maximum number returned). Probably 45 of them have the exact steps you are looking for.
Below is one of the links returned:

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE use the search functionality before you post a question. Especially one like this that has been discussed over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.......
