Creating VPAR

Hi,

I have around 20 HP-UX box with me , now I want to convert all them to VPAR... Planning to BY super dome... Which approach shall I follow in order to transit the stand alone system to VPAR....

Please help...

You use Ignite.

Basic path is you take an Ignite image of the system, and build a vpar and then restore the Ignite image to the vpar.

Be careful though. You can't Ignite an old PA-RISC system into an Itanium based vpar.

There are limits to how many systems you can run on one superdome before you might run into resource issues such as network bandwidth issues.

Hi Mr, Right

Yes, Ignite is best and on 1 Npar you can create MAX 4 Vpars.
Everything is Possible as " IMPOSSIBLE" word itself says I M POSSIBLE
