CSTM output

Hi,

I am getting this error in CSTM. Can any one help me about it. Actully the main problem is 100% disk utlization and performance is dead slow.

HI AFA,

Just to know more, can you check the following too

1. iostat
2. dmesg
3. syslog

You may find failure errors in that too.

Or there may be a possibility a NFS/CIFS disk is being used more.

Better raise a call with your local HP, it may be some IO board problem

Shalom,

Is it possible that the disk problem is on the disk we are writing the output to?

The disk itself may be saturated and unable to write.

If not this, check the version on Online diagnostics and update, it may just be a software error.

Hi AFA,

Is there something that suggests the two things are connected?

How often do you see the IOC Error? Are you getting any events logged in /var/opt/resmon/log/event.log? If so, what, and how often? Any I/O errors showing with logtool in STM?

You could try looking at the disk with the STM info tool, and running the Exercise tool, that might give some clues.

Is there simply some process running that is reading or writing a lot of data to that disk?
