Hi again ramkumar.

I am having a problem in a particular vg .
We have implemented BC and spliting the pair .
i tried to do vgchid on Svols . say i am having 16 svols . when i tried it used to give a error for a particlar phsycial volume like it is a part of different vg. so i done a vgchgid for 15 devices and imported that vg with a map file.
as their is not data on the voulume giving a error i extended the vg with same physical volume by doing pvcreate without reducing the missing link from the vg.Now what happend the current physical volume in the vg including alternte path became 34 . and actual pvols are 32.I tried with vgreduce -f option also . The number of devices in /etc/lvmtab and vgconf fiel are 32 . how i can get the actual pvols to
32 now.Kindly help me out .
