D280, HPUX 10.20 & parallel printer
Greetings,
we are running a D280 with HPUX 10.20. We must run this version of HPUX due to a specific software application. The application will be upgraded this year, but for now we are stuck. The D280 has a hp Laserjet III connected to the parallel port of the box and the application prints to it. The laserjet III is done and needs replaced but we need a new(er). We only print text (no graphics) to the printer. Can someone suggest a good replacement for this printer ?
thanks,
Darryl

Re: D280, HPUX 10.20 & parallel printer
The trick will be finding a printer with a parallel port. In any event, you need to stay in the LaserJet family so avoid any of the InkJet or DeskJet printers. Any Laserjet that has a parallel port should work.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
