Re: Data base failover in hp ux 11i v1
That would be a very basic set-up for HP Serviceguard failover cluster software.
The primary documentation for Serviceguard is a book named "Managing Serviceguard". It is available as a PDF from HP. Download it, and read the introductory chapters to understand the general requirements for a failover set-up.
The documentation for Serviceguard is here:
http://www.hp.com/go/hpux-serviceguard-docs
Select the base product "HP Serviceguard" to find the book PDFs in the "User Guide" section.
If you need to failover to secondary storage system too, you'll need the Serviceguard Metrocluster, which adds extra functionality to the basic Serviceguard. So first read Serviceguard documentation to learn the basics, then read more about Metrocluster if you need it.
