dbc_max_pct

I've heard discussions on dcb_max_pct at HPWORLD and elsewhere. I suspect there has been a thread here. Is there a way to search for previous discussion? The last I heard is that dbc_max_pct should be set to prevent a cache from exceeding 150 or 200 meg even on monster machines. What's the latest?

Hi:

At the left is a link to "search". Supply your keyword(s) and, check the box for "Community Forums" below the search parameters. Make sure that you are logged-in for full access. There are a multitude of posts on "buffer cache", and "dbc_max_pct".

Regards!
