DBD::Oracle problem HP-UX 11.23 Itanium DBI 1.51

Did any success installing DBD::Oracle 1.19 on Itanium boxes?

Procedure followed was:

apparently DBD::Oracle is shown installed while executing instmodsh or perldoc perllocal

Where is this shlib suppose to be?

Well in a previous installation we had perl 5.8.3 HP-UX 11.23 found it in two locations
/opt/perl_32/lib/site_perl/5.8.3/IA64.ARCHREV_0-thread-multi/auto/DBD/Oracle/Oracle.so
/opt/oracle/product/10.2.0/client_1/perl/lib/site_perl/5.8.3/IA64.ARCHREV_0-thread-multi-LP64/auto/DBD/Oracle/Oracle.so same as on server were are trying to install it again.

Not sure if has something to do with the SHLIB and LD libraries. any ideas?

So you could put it there.

If you have it elsewhere, you may be able to use SHLIB_PATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH (ELF only) to point there.
