DCE configuration
On 11i, ihad installed DCE, today i tried to configure DCE. I opted for initial cell server setup, i got the following error.

Do you wish to first remove all remnants of

You should do so only if you plan on re-configuring

I removed the DCE completely and reinstalled the same, now i can't see dce_config under neither /opt/dce/bin nor /opt/dcelocal/bin.
does anybody knows the solution?
thanx in advance

Re: DCE configuration
Make sure that you have the following bundles installed.
B3187B, B3188B, B6192AA
DCE daemon is dumping. Did you get any core. Check for the signal which generated the core.
check /var/opt/dce/config/dce_config.log for any any errors.
This will give some info.

Re: DCE configuration
When making a new cell, I always had to exit dce_config after removing the remnants, and then restart dce_config to start configuring the new cell.

Re: DCE configuration
after re-installinf DCE (B3187B, B3188B, B6192AA) the dce_config command under /opt/dce/bin doesn't exist.
/opt/dce/bin has only
/opt/dce/bin >ls
acctmgr dceping idl sec_create_db tclobam
cdsbrowser dcm nidl_to_idl sec_salvage_db

Is there any problem with the media from which you are installing? Double check the depot for any errors.

My advise is to swremove dce filesets. Rm any remnant dirs.
re-install DCE filesets.
re-run dce-config, perform a
