How can i find out existing version of DCE.

DCE version for 11.11 is B.11.11

But you can install the following 2 patches
if you want to upgrade for getting some bugs
ixed.

o PHSS_28387
o PHSS_29964

Hi,

As far as I know, the what string of HP-UX 11.11 is B.11.11. Normally, for applications running on HP-UX 11.11, the what string would be B.11.11.xx.yy. And from the docs available on docs.hp.com, I understand that the latest version of DCE is infact 1.8. Now, it might have an equivalent what string.. for instance, B.11.11.08 or so! It is also possible that at times the what string matches with the version number of a product.

The machine I have has DCE 1.8 (what output), but this is because of the patch I mentioned
above. The base product version (not what
string) remains B.11.11
