Deactivating resource monitoring

Hi guys,

On one of our HP servers, we are receiving a error related to 'registrar'. In fatc it's not able to connect to port 1712 as the service is not activated on /etc/inetd.conf. That's for the little story. My question is how can I deactivate the resource monirtoring if needed ?

EMS can be managed with /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig

What's the exact message you are seeing, and where are you seeing it?

The EMS HW monitors use registrar, as does the EMS Resource Monitoring. I would not recommend turning off the EMS HW Monitors; is there a particular reason the registrar service has been disabled?
