default DISPLAY setting in SMH

default DISPLAY setting in SMH

Greetings,

I am running hp-ux 11.31 on rp7420 server. When I run smh, all the all tools in the apps have their DISPLAY set to the server IP - not the DISPLAY in my shell. How do I change the behavior to pick up the current DISPLAY. Thanks

ok - so there is no solution then - maybe I can upgrade the version - the 3.1 version is all web based.

When I execute smh as non-root it mentioned /opt/hpsmh/display and permission.

And the script that failed was /opt/hpsmh/lbin/samweb.

 

The code seems to take the display from $DISPLAY and write it to that file.
