Default paper pickup on laserjet printer

Hi friends
I'm using hpux11(unigraphics application running on it).I installed jetadmin and configure HP laserjet5100 spooler on my workstation.i want to give printout to printer,then it will take A3 paper.kindly guide me friends.

cd /etc/lp/interface/model.orig

vi printername

lookfor line
paper="def" # CHANGE DEFAULT PAPER SIZE

set
paper="ISOA3"

exit vi

Then you have default A3 on the printer

or
export MANPATH=/opt/hpnpl/man:$MANPATH

Then
man net_ljx000

You will see all options available

Also, keep in mind that HP changed things with the release of the 4 seriers. The default behavior is to take paper of the specified size from the lowest tray. So if you have multiple trays with A3, the lowest tray will empty first.

This can wreck havok with older applications that make use of PostScript and expect a certain size paper in a specific tray.
