Default settings

Hi all,

How do i overwrite user settings with system settings.

for example, i want to set umask is automatically set to 022 , even if the ower sets different umask,

correction system settings should overwrite user settings

Hi,

Entering in /etc/profile file must overwrite the users settings.

hi,

You can't ... Login process first uses /etc/profile THEN user's settings. So, if you user sets umask in .profile, you can't change it back. You could only prevent them from using a .profile, but it's not no easy ...
