default user in /etc/password
Does any body know what´s the login "named" for ....? and can i delete without any colateral damage...?

there is no default user "named" . it seems that a dns server isrunning on your machine under named user.

I'm not sure if this is unique your system?
But assuming the user named has something to do with the named demon:

There is a "-u user-id" option.
