Re: deleting a file
Hi,
looking at your earlier threads can I recommend:
1. You specify what you want to do and what platform you are going to run this on
2. Get yourself a PERL book or use tutorial like:
http://www.perl.com/pub/a/2000/10/begperl1.html
http://www.comp.leeds.ac.uk/Perl/start.html
3. Read the following:
http://66.34.90.71/ITRCForumsEtiquette/after.html
Please also read:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/helptips.do?#33 on how to reward any useful answers given to your questions.
So far you have not awarded any points !
#!/usr/bin/perl
$file = "a.lis";
if (unlink($file) != 0) {
print "File deleted successfully.";
} else {
print "File was not deleted.";
}
