Dell M5200 printer
Hi,
I recently have to install some of the Dell M5200 network printers using JetDirect on out HP9000 N Class server running 11.0.
I am using dumbplot_modelscript with CR to configure them on HP 9000 server. When I print a text file to this printer, it works fine. However, when I try to print a text file spooled from sqlplus that has "(" in it, the printer does not print at all. If I remove the "(" then it prints. I am not sure what's going on with these printers. Can anyone give me some idea of how to fix this?
We can fix the sql file as "cat output.file | tr -d '(' | lp" but we should not have to do this. We have hundreds of jobs that generate these print jobs all the time. These print jobs normally print to an HP LaserJet so there was no problem. Now they have to print to Dell printers.
Please help. Thank you
Tuan
