Detecting USB HDD in HPUX 11.11

Hi all,
Can anyone please tell me, how to detect USB HDD in HPUX 11.11.
Model of the server is RP4440.

I thought only the only supported USB devices were keyboard and mouse.

The answer, unsatisfying and compelte is you don't detect such a device with an HP-9000 server.

With few exceptions disks not directly supported by HP can not be accessed by the operating system.

ioscan -fnC disk

If you don't see it there is nothing more you can do. If a PC can detect the disk then perhaps it can be used to upload the contents to the HP-UX box via sftp or ftp.

U guys mean that i cannot attach a USB HDD in HPUX 11.11

As far as I know, there is no patch for that.

To use USB storage devices with HP-UX, you must upgrade to HP-UX 11.23 (aka 11i v2) or above.
