Device Instance number

Hello guys,

By doing an "ioscan -fnNC disk" on the 2 nodes of our cluster, I have noticed that on the second node, Instance number of the device doesn't match the instance number for the same device on the other node.

The device filenames are ok, on both nodes the same disk has identical device filenames, which is a must to have the lvm configuration working on both nodes.

My question is about possible impacts on having the Device Instance number different on the 2 nodes, and possible someone know how possibly correct this.

It will have no impact if the instance numbers are different across the nodes in a cluster
