Re: Dhcp Server Problem
I refer you to the man page for bootpd:
bootpd can be run through inetd (see inetd(1M)), or as a stand-alone
daemon. It is run by /etc/inetd when the following line (or
equivalent) is included in the file /etc/inetd.conf:
bootps dgram udp wait root /usr/lbin/bootpd bootpd
Is that line in your /etc/inetd.conf file and not commented out?

If it has wheels or a skirt, you can't afford it.

Re: Dhcp Server Problem
Hi,
Okay, you need to supply more information. It sounds like you have a DHCP server serving up
two address to one network card. Or you have
two DHCP pools which are not working correctly.
Also you did not say if you are running DHCP
on a HP-UX, Linux, or Windows Server. Which
to receive the correct answer we need to know.
Questions:
1. What OS are you running.
2. Are you running DDNS also.
3. Do you have two DHCP pools congirured.
Regards,
