Hi all:
Question - I have a March 2000 HP CD that has HP-UX
Support Plus, Diagnoostics, and Tested Patch Bundles.
The question is will this work for 10.20 as well? I ask this
because the March 2000 Apps CDs contain Ignite for the
different versions. The DIAGS do not indicate which OS
version there are for except for what is on the box.
I do have the Apr 1999 DIAG/IPR CD that can be loaded
onto 10.20. Just checking to see if the 1 CD will do both
10.20 and 11.00.
Many thanks to all!

Solution
Hello,
I do have the HP-UX 10.20 Support Plus CDROM, and I do have HP-UX 11.0 Support PLus CDROM, both March 2000.
So, on the cdroms and as well on the paper box is specified the OS version. (for 10.20, CDROM Part Number is B3782-10466, for 11.00, is B3782-10467).

Re: DIAGS - Support Plus - 10.20 and 11.00
Rick,
HP changed the diagnostic media strategy in September 1999. Until than, the CD was called "Independent Product Release Media" because it contained the Diagnostic tools for all supported OS releases. Additional to that CD, you had an "Extension Software Release" with the patch bundles.
Since September 1999 you have the SP CD, which contains the diagnostic tools and patches for one specific OS release.
So you need a SP CD for hp-ux 10.20 and a different one for hp-ux 11.0

There is no good troubleshooting with bad data
