Did anyone try to install a DVD viewer on HP-UX ?

Hi,

Did anyone try to install a DVD viewer on HP-UX ?
(I'm trying to install xine and sinek on HP-UX 11.00 J5000, without much success)

There is an open-source LINUX DVD Player that was in Alpha release 6 months ago. Never tried it as the boss threatened to post me to the HelpDesk if I installed it. Feel like compiling the opensource code?

If you really, really want proper DVD on a computer, then break your laptop and ask your boss for a new one with a DVD player in it.
