Difference between HPUX11i v1 and HPUX11i

Hi all
Is there any difference? I can't find any related documentation on HPUX11i at http://docs.hp.com/hpux/11i/index.html

11iv1 means 11.11 and works only on PA systems.
11i and 11i v1 are same.

11i indicates the OS.
v1 (11.11) runs on PA-Risc while v2 (11.22 or 11.23) runs on Itanium based HP-9000 systems from what I understand.

Hi,

Each HP-UX 11i release has an associated release name and release identifier. The uname(1) command with the -r option returns the release identifier. Following are the releases available for HP-UX 11i:

Hi,

There are two versions available in HP-UX 11i,

HP-UX 11i v1 and HP-UX 11i v2

v1 runs only on RISC based systems,whereas v2 runs on Itanium processors machines,

Next release HP-UX 11i v3 will run on both RISC and Itanium processors machines
