Sounds like a Windows problem, doesn't it?

Isn't there more than one version of Windows?
Which one are you using?

What does this directory look like on the
HP-UX system?

What does a simple (reliable) FTP client
program give you for a directory listing
here?

You tried them _all_? 3.1? 98? ME? XP
(Home, Professional)? Vista (..._? 7 (...)?
...???

Exactly.

Sounds (to me) more and more like a Windows
problem.

There are many FTP client programs for
Windows (including many Web browsers) which
may have fewer problems with this.

It seems to be good enough. (Much better
than my Korean.)
