dirty pages

hi,
i am searching for dirty pages but i am not getting them in hp-ux, then i thought bwrit ( using sar) pages as dirty but in my system 1 block = 2 pages hence i could not take it.
help me out in solving my probs.

Can you explain yourself a little better, as to exactly what you are looking for and what you are trying to accomplish and what your question is?

There is nothing in sar to display dirty file buffer cache blocks; i.e. those which have been modified in cache but not yet written to disk. If you are concerned about this then your application must use synchronous write but you are going to trade speed for a slight improvement in reliability.

Your other option is to use raw (character) I/O.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
