disable APA

Can anybody help with me with how to disable APA on hp-ux 11.23

You can:
- uninstall it,
- remove APA start scripts/links.

You can for example build a link aggregates with several NICs, e.g. lan0, lan1 and lan2 - this will be lan900. Now you can also remove a NIC from this group and use it "the normal way". Is this what you want?

When I do a netstat -in, along with the other lan interfaces it shows

I just want to disable the APA configured so that next time when the server boots, I dont want it to check for APA

Don't know where your problem is, but why not deleting the unused link aggregates (in APA config)?

What I don't understand is, first you pay for APA and now you don't want to use it?

We need to do some changes on the server, & reboot it. So we need to disbale APA.
Do you know where I should delete the links?

you can use the provided startup script to make a hp_apa stop or even better you can reconfigure your apa config files prior to your planned intervention to make the changes ready for next boot time
if you want to get rid of apa you need to make a swremove
