disabled user account properties
Hi,
If a user account is deactivated, (say for too many unsuccessful logins) are there any issues with the account funtionality? I read in another thread that mail forwarding using .forward will not work? Anyone aware of other issues?
Thanks,
Ed

Re: disabled user account properties
Shalom,
I don't think whether the account is deactivated or not will effect mail processing. Sendmail is unable to check this when accepting inbound mail.
ssh/telnet logins will fail. public key enabled logins will also fail. A console login will reactivate the account.
