Disk showing as NO_HW OFFLINE
Hello,
I replaced a mirrored boot disk in an rx8620 running HP-UX 11.31. I first removed the logical volume copies from the disk, then vgreduced the disk from the group.
After this I swapped the disk hot.. and my replacement disk shows up under the same lun path as OFFLINE NO_HW.
What commands to I use to make the disk accessible to the system?
Thanks

Re: Disk showing as NO_HW OFFLINE
You need to work with "scsimgr replace_wwid..." - the syslog entry should tell you.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
