Disks in Surestore FC 10 seen as SCAN
Operating system: HP-UX 11.00
Server: L2000
Surestore E Disk System FC10 (8 disks)
I have connected surestore to server with FC cables.
When I put command: ioscan -fnC disk
I get:
16 disks (the same model), but some have status SCAN, and some are CLAIMED.
Rebooting the server and surestore, insf -e and ioscan don't help. Disks in surestore look ok, only green leds are on (no orange).
Where is the problem?

Re: Disks in Surestore FC 10 seen as SCAN
This is because of the armmon process.
You have installed Online diagnostics and process armmon has a running ioscan. In this case you see a SCAN on those devices.
See this document.

Perhaps you should install latest Online Diag and latest EMS patches.
