I see in sar report that average service time for my disks (EMC storage), is 30-50 ms
Is it normal and if not what are the normal service times?
Thanx.

Re: Disks service time - sar
The disks themselves (36GB) have between 2-4 ms.
You should login to the navisphere GUI and check the performance from there.
The CX500 has a good interface for that purpose.
You can also tuned a bit the ratio of read/write cache.
Regards,
Bob
