DLT write error(i/o error) occurred when doing the DB BK
The error message is:
Backup Server: 4.141.2.22: [2] The 'write' call failed for device '/dev/rmt/0mn' with error number 5 (I/O error). Refer to your operating system documentation for further details.
I can't find what's error number 5 represent,
i also attached the DB backup log,hope somebody
can look it and tell me if i need to change
another DLT tape drive, thank you.

Check with ioscan -nfCtape and after verify the write in tape with tar cv file.

with error number 5 (I/O error) See /usr/include/sys/errno.h
It is a write error, due to a flaw on the media or media has finished, other cause are posible too.
To fix the cause run xstm ( or stm) and get status for this device, whitout unload the tape.
