Does it hurt if I reboot server during LVM lv sync?
If a mirrored LV pairs are in the progress of synchronization, can I shutdown/reboot the server?
The LV will restart synchronization from the begining in the next boot anyway, is it right?
Thanks!

Re: Does it hurt if I reboot server during LVM lv sync?
I would NOT reboot during an lvsync. It may not harm anything, but why take the risk.
I would let the lvsync finish, then reboot.

Re: Does it hurt if I reboot server during LVM lv sync?
As Patric said, No one will recommend to reboot when a lvsync is in progress.
you may be surprised by the time system will take to boot since it has to syncronize all the extents.

Time has a wonderful way of weeding out the trivial
