Domain - sending email

Why is appearing this one?

Aug 4 17:50:00 Austraila6 sendmail[25470]: unable to qualify my own domain name (Australia6) -- using short name

Because sendmail cannot determine your domain name. You can address this in a number of ways but probably the easiest is to edit /etc/mail/sendmail.cf and search for "domain". You will see a commented macro that will explain what you need to do.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

i changed the file /etc/resolv.conf ... it was updated with other DNS servers ... thanks a lot :0)
