hi ..
can you tell me if

/hojta = /hojita/./

what is the meaning of "./" ?

this is the $HOME of one userid in the system ...

Hi Manuales:

A dot-slash would signify the current directory. Without a dot (".") in my PATH, as for a proper root users, I must specify my current path thusly:

# ./mything #...to run "mything" having cd'ed to its directory.

Hi Manuales,

Yes that's correct...

/hojta = /hojta/./

...since "./" stands for the current dir. To verify that these are the same, cd to the dir and see for yourself.
# cd /hojta/./
# pwd
the pwd command should return "/hojta" as your current working directory.
