Downgrading Serviceguard

Hi, I need to install another HP product called Mediation device, and one of the prereqs is ServiceGuard 11.13 on hpux11v1. ServiceGuard package on Appl DVD is 11.16. Is there a way to downgrade SG or a site for me to download another depot?

not sure what the product "Mediation device" is - never heard of it.

SG 11.13 is _very_ old and has been out of support for a while now. I'm not sure any current product would be dependent on such an old release.

Can you post the reference for requiring 11.13?

ok, so I think the "Mediation Device" was part of the HP OpenView Open Element
Management Framework (OEMF) suite of products. That suite of product I think also went end of life about 4 years ago...

So you are trying to get an unsupported piece of software that's required by another piece of unsupported software.

I think all I can say at this point is good luck... no doubt someone out there will have a copy of SG 11.13 they can let you have, but anything you do with it or with OEMF is going to be off your own back.

I would suspect that their "pre-requisite" is a MINIMUM requirement.
A.11.13 version of Serviceguiard has been out of support for some time now, and I would strongly doubt that having a newer version is going to make a difference.

As Duncan pointed out, it's a EOL product. Apparently something breaks on newer releases of SG, and since there are no more updates to MD, I need that particular version.

I hoped there was a ftp with the older releases or something like that. Anyway, thanks for your time.
