Good morning,
I have to do a clone via DRD and to optimize timing, I would like to exclude a lvol (application) from the vg00.
Is it possible ? What is eventually the option to do that ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

not that is not possible, it's called Dynamic root DISK not volume - see Admin guide page 11
http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01918754/c01918754.pdf
The source of the drd clone command is the LVM volume group or VxVM disk group containing the root (/) and boot (/stand) file systems. ... Because the drd clone operation clones a single group ...

Re: DRD - Exclude a lvol
Thanks for your answer.
That what I thought because I found nothing about it in the admin guide.
Regards.
