DST testing for Nov 4th 2007 not successful
Has anyone encountered this problem, maybe possibly with the /usr/lib/tztab file, we pushed the time ahead to 1:58 Nov 4, 2007 on our test system to see if it rolls back to 1 am.. It doesn't roll back, it just goes to 2 am.. Is there a new patch for this?.. i did a while loop to monitor the time change, this is what I get:
Sun Nov 4 01:59:48 EST 2007
Sun Nov 4 01:59:51 EST 2007

Re: DST testing for Nov 4th 2007 not successful
There was thread on this topic a little while ago - The gist of the thread was that in order for DST test to work correctly, you will need to set the time no closer than 00:59 Nov 4, 2007. You need to set it at least one hour from the change time in order to avoid ambiguity.
