DTC configuration
Hello,
I'm looking to get some validation from someone who has some experience working w/ DTC Manager. This weekend, I'm putting a new server in place that will be replacing an exsisting server. With the present server, it is talking to a dtc16 and dtc72. On the newly built server, I installed the current version of DTC manager (can't recall the version) and then entered the configuration exactly as it is on the present server. It is only terminals, no printers. The server talks to the dtc16 and dtc72 via a private thin-net, networking which directly hangs off of a card on the server. This weekend, I'm going to be moving that cable to the new server, which is going to take over the identity of the present server. What else will I need to do ?
Thanks

Re: DTC configuration
You did not mention what model of DTC16, but it is a good idea to hang it off the same segment because MAC addresses will not span segments of the network unless specifically bridged. (Not bridged? No MAC addresses therefore no configuration data downloaded)
