DTC Manager and Router Cisco
I need to configure DTC Manager in my HP-9000 but I need to reach my DTCs throught a Cisco router. I guess I am not reaching my DTCs from my HP-9000 because my router blocks my comunications ports.
Does anybody know the ports that use DTC Manager to reach each DTC?
Regards.
Mario Cervantes.

Re: DTC Manager and Router Cisco
Moving to a more closely related forum (I hope) - this has nothing to do with Omniback / Data Protector, as far as I know...
Omniback and NT problems? double check name resolution, DNS/HOSTS...

Re: DTC Manager and Router Cisco
Well if they are out via a routed network, then you need to use DTC-RX manager, and the correct DTC models for this.
If I remember correctly the standard DTC Manager would not allow management of DTC's via a routed network.
