I'm planning a migration from HP3000 to HP9000 platform and someone told me that DTC's are no longer supported on the latest version of HPUX.
I heard that HPUX 11.11 was the last OS that supports DTC's.
Is this correct?
Is anyone out there using dumb terminals on HP9000?
Thanks.

Solution
I believe that 11.11 (11i) is the last release to support the DTCs. There are lots of green screen apps running on the HP 9000 but usually in the form of a cheap PC running a terminal emulator such as Reflection for HP. Note that 11i is the current version and won't be a support issue for many years.

Re: DTC's on HPUX
Pedro,
All DTCs have been removed from the list of orderable products in 2003 or earlier, and HP does not implement support on releases that go out after a product is no longer orderable. So DTCs will not be supported with any release after 11.11. Also if they were to be supported on 11.23, this would have already happened by now. So that pretty much confirms that DTCs will not be supported after 11.11 (11.23, ...).
But as Bill said, 11.11 life is still long.
