dtlogin hangs after entering userid and passwd

Even at console, anyone that tries to log into the server, the dtlogin hangs.
11.11 trusted server.

There is nothing in the error logs.
/var/dt/Xerrors

xfs is started on server
I do have the file /etc/securetty

I am hoping someone could help me out!

Re: dtlogin hangs after entering userid and passwd

Hi,

the most cases of that kind are the result of an invalid or inconsistent network configuration.

Check for changes in that field!
Messages maybe found in
~/.dt/errorlog
~/.dt/startlog
of the user trying to login.

Re: dtlogin hangs after entering userid and passwd

Shalom,

Check permission on the .dt files and tail -f /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log

Re: dtlogin hangs after entering userid and passwd

There is no entry in the syslog

And permissions look correct.

Re: dtlogin hangs after entering userid and passwd

I locked the server down too much!
If you desable the nfs.server in the /sbin/rc2.d config, your dt session will hang
