Hi,

Can I use the DVD drive of an N-class machine to watch DVD movies? Can anyone tell me where I could get some software player to do this?

This would certainly keep me up during night works.

Why don't you just bring in a pc!.. honestly though the hp9000 servers aren't home entertainment systems!

I did however see an ascii text dvd viewer for hp text terminals!

It converted the DVD stream to text and displayed on your console in ascii!

It was pretty cool!.. I've lost the link but will try to find it again.... keep posted.

Unfornately, laptops are not allowed inside the "clean room", but, at least, DVD's are! :-)
